Welcome Tina Moyer: MDG’s New Purchasing Agent & Interior Designer
Many of you know that we’ve been through a transition over the past two months. We’ve been on a long, hard search to replace the irreplaceable Michelle. Well, that search is over. And I don’t think we could have found a better person to fill those shoes.

Say “hey” to our new girl, Tina Moyer! She looks like she’ll fit right in, doesn’t she?
Tina Moyer comes to MDG with an extensive background in the practical world of interior design. Our search was special — we were looking for the type of personality that “gets things done.” We needed a person who is a pit bull when it comes to finding your sofa that shipped to California instead of New Jersey. We found that flair and tenacity, as well as a stand up comedian, in our newest member of the team. I introduce our new Purchasing Agent/ Interior Designer: Tina Moyer.
And here she is…

I’m a little bit of everything all rolled into one…
As famed lyricist Meredith Brooks so eloquently wrote, “I’m a little bit of everything all rolled into one” (Bitch, 1997).
This lyric holds so true for me. By day I’m tracking deliveries, buying beautiful furniture, pushing papers and cracking jokes left and right (most likely at my own expense). By night I’m mama to little Miss Penny Jane, a toddler with a mind and wit of her own. I’m also married to a talented guy named Lloyd who is a wood turner, and who I’m sure I’ll blog about at a later date.
I’ve been a part of the interior design world for the last 14 years. I have been a project coordinator for a design firm in Philadelphia and for a general contractor in Doylestown, PA. I even worked in the kitchen design department for IKEA while in school. And even though I have been with Bridget and the MDG girls for just over a month now, I feel like I’ve always been here. I’ve never felt so accepted and embraced. It was a smooth transition into my role, and the relationship that I’m forming with Max is no doubt priceless. We’re like an insane comedy team, and we’re planning to take our act on the road this summer.
I love to be surrounded by good design, and that’s just what I’ve found here at MDG. Because of how great the dynamics are here in the office, I feel like things can only go up from here.

Congratulations Tina! I’m looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you!
